Going camping? This Minnesota campground ranks one of the most scenic in the US

The Midwest has some of the country's most scenic campsites, from the windswept landscapes of the Dakotas to the Northwoods shorelines of Minnesota. The online travel guide Matador Network names the 60 Campsites With the Best Views Across the United States, including 10 sites in the Midwest. To create the list, Matador worked with a team from The Dyrt, a website for finding, booking and reviewing campsites. Matador also relied on its team across the U.S., along with tips from various park organizations and tourism boards. Here's what to know about the Minnesota campground named one of the country's most scenic: The boat-in Frontcountry campsites at Minnesota's Voyageurs National Park give campers a chance to settle along the shorelines and enjoy a view of the park's large lakes. The park doesn't rent any type of watercraft, but local businesses offer water taxi service and a variety of boat rentals. The area is a mix of land, water and wetlands, with a wide variety of wildlife. At the right time, it's also possible to view the northern lights from different spots in the park.
